Ron Bovard received his B.A. in 1971 and became an independent artist. Carnegie Museum exhibited Ron’s work for the first time in 1972. Ron went on to have over 25 one man shows in the U.S.A. and Europe. As art director for Creative Glass Works International in the early 1980’s, Ron helped develop the abrasive water jet cutting technology that is used in the glass industry today. In 1986 Ron started Bovard Studio stained glass (www.bovardstudio.com).

Over the past 22 years Ron has assembled a team of leading stained glass artists and craftspeople at Bovard Studio Inc. He has designed a vented framing system for the conservation of stained glass windows with patent pending status. Ron has been the subject of three PBS television shows. He is the author of “WINDOWS FOR THE SOUL” (currently in its second edition) published by Wardell Publications, and numerous articles on stained glass windows and stained glass restoration.
